DIAL-UP

Dial-up lines provide connections across the PSTN. Dial-up lines open a new circuit with each call and may use different routing paths to the same destination. (Note: The public switched telephone network is slow because it was originally designed for voice-grade analog communications.) Because the PSTN is a circuit-switched network, end-to-end circuit links between any two origin/destination points, as well as the line quality of those links, may vary from one call to the next. Consequently, transmission quality may vary from one call to the next. Over long distances, the variable circuit quality may slow up as difference in modem connect speed, throughput, or loss of carrier (abnormal disconnection). In relation to this, MabTEK has provided actual support for configuring your Dial-up connection especially through your internet connectivity. For more details, please contact Customer Support Team.
